Hi, We are using a third party java reporting product (http://www.jinfonet.com/) to produce reports from our 100% java application. After much tweaking, experimentation with RAWT, NAWT, with many incantations and with much fist shaking, we can now produce PDF files from Java on the iSeries/AS400 (v5r2). This fills us with much satisfaction. We now would like to print those self same reports on the AS400. We appear to be stuck. How can we print an object that implements java.awt.print.Printable on the iSeries ? Is it impossible ? We have a shared HP5000 connected to the iSeries via tcp/ip. Is it possible to configure the device to accept any Printable objects ? Failing that (and that's what we'd really like to do), is there any way to spool the produced PDF files to the printer - without leaving the iSeries ?
