Mark, Can I get away with simply copying the files into websphere? I had assumed that websphere wouldn't to happy with me replacing a complete webapp in this way. If so that is probably the easiest thing to do (although maybe not the fastest). I assume that the files would need to go into the installedApps folder, under the appropriate .ear/.war folder? For most changes that is all you need to do. Otherwise, I would use Ant's tools to build an EAR file and then after Ant finishes, kick off some process that uses the WebSphere Tools to update the application from the EAR file using the UPDENTAPP command. David Morris might have added the ability to run an iSeries Command from Ant, if so then you could do it all from Ant.
