Chris, Why not just have Ant copy the files to the correct location in the IFS? For most changes that is all you need to do. Otherwise, I would use Ant's tools to build an EAR file and then after Ant finishes, kick off some process that uses the WebSphere Tools to update the application from the EAR file using the UPDENTAPP command. David Morris might have added the ability to run an iSeries Command from Ant, if so then you could do it all from Ant.
