Veni,

You would normally use the IBM Toolbox for Java for the communication
between any Java Application and the AS/400.

More info can be found at:
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/toolbox/

Chris.

Subject: info needed on Tomcat(JSP) to As/400 connectivity

Hi,

ne of our client wants an application on JSP which in
turn should talk to an AS/400 system.
The client does not want to use IBM websphere.
They are planning to use Jakarta-Tomcat server to
hoist the web application consisting of Java server
pages which, should talk to As/400 system to handle
data.

Are there any APIs avilable which will take care of
the calls made from my JSP/Java classes to conect and
handle data on an As/400 machine?

Thanks,
veni.
