Problems connecting to a local AS400

I am using the AS400 object.  I am using the following to construct the
connection object:

AS400 as400 = new AS400("localhost", "*CURRENT", "*CURRENT");

When connecting, I get the error that the password is not set.  The specific
exception is as follows:

What I am trying to do is to use the current user and password for an AS400
connection.  This is being run as a batch job submitted from the job
scheduler.  Any ideas on how to resolve this error?
