Patrick, That's because it's not a bug in the driver: it's a bug in DB2/400 itself. Somehow it only manifests through JDBC, though (if RPG programs couldn't do file updates, I think we'd be hearing a lot more about it ;-) ). Changing to the newest version of the toolbox driver just made the problem manifest in a different way. At least, that's my interpretation of it. I haven't tried the native driver, though. I'll maybe give that a try today.
