There is an ME server that runs on the 400 and matching classes for the ME client. The ME server supplies JDBC access, program call etc. Go to JTOpen to get the latest version it is in there. You can get the MIDP for the palm from the sun site, if this is the PDA you are using. All, I am going to be implementing a WAP (PDA type) device using the J2ME standard. I need to access data from the AS/400 with this project. Are there any J2ME classes for AS/400 access available? I am not sure if the normal data access classes (Toolbox classes) will work in the J2ME environment. Also, did anyone else on the list develop wireless applications using J2ME and connecting to the 400?
