We are running an S20, with very little interactive (another problem for webfacing). According to the WAS specs, we haven't got enough memory or a fast enough processor, so maybe we're lucky that it runs at all.... Has anyone found some "recommended" machine specs for Tomcat? Chris. -----Original Message----- From: Joe Pluta [mailto:joepluta@PlutaBrothers.com] Sent: 15 November 2001 14:22 To: java400-l@midrange.com Subject: RE: New GUI for green on black... Webfacing runtime is free Chris, what type of box are you running? I've found it's not the size of the box, but the age that matters. The older boxes don't handle WebSphere, but the newer ones run it quite nicely. I've got a tiny little model 270 here (with 0 interactive CPW - a $10,000 machine), and WebSphere runs very well.
