A couple of things to check:
- make sure that your job was submitted with ALWMLTTHD(*YES)
- try to move Java program later in a startup program - after subsystems
are started. If your Java program runs in a separate job, it might be too
early for subsystem to run this job.

Are there any issues running Java programs in the startup list after an
IPL?
I have a Java program that runs fine when I start it from command line, but
when I have it in the startup list, after IPL, it will not start. I don't
see any messages about why it won't start, and I have included the MONMSG
line.
Is there something I am missing? Where else can I look to figure this
out?
