A tidbit of information that may or may not effect the question you're asking. For connections with SQL naming (JDBC default), the default schema (library) for accessing non-qualified SQL resources (for example, table "foo" in "select * from foo") is the schema (library) with the same name as the user that has connected. I.e. "select * from foo" would be understood to be "select * from USER.foo") So, if someone was doing this (retrieve user ID and set some library) for SQL purposes only, and its appropriate for the users to simply use libraries with the same name as their user ID, the SQL engine does this for you already. Dunno if that helps or if you care. 8-) In every single ethnic, religious or racial group, there are a very few truly evil people. For each of those people there are many, many, many good people.
