I have deployed a java server on the as400, and the administrator launch it using the following command: STRQSH CMD(startserver.txt) StartServer.txt contains the java definition of the classpath and the call to (classic) java command (he has just rewritten the windows bat file i had written) I have another program to stop the server: StopServer. This program connect to the server using connect and ask it to stop. In some case the job of the server doesn't stop. I was wondering if the java program was stopped, but not the QSH job. Does this make sense?
