-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] In our environment, we use QSH so that the classpath is set by the shell script. This makes our environment more similar to how our programmers work in Unix. Thereby making it easier for them to work on our AS/400's. I have deployed a java server on the as400, and the administrator launch it using the following command: STRQSH CMD(startserver.txt) StartServer.txt contains the java definition of the classpath and the call to (classic) java command (he has just rewritten the windows bat file i had written) I have another program to stop the server: StopServer. This program connect to the server using connect and ask it to stop. In some case the job of the server doesn't stop. I was wondering if the java program was stopped, but not the QSH job. Does this make sense?
