Title: RE: failed to import xerces.jar
I add the same problem.

Do you really need the webspehre test environment?

For the same problem, with an application not using websphere, i have unloaded websphere
test environment, and XML parser.
I have then created a new project with Xerces.

In another project where we use both Websphere and Xerces,
we have created a new project for Xerces.
During the import of Xerces classes we have a message like "This class already exist in another application,
do you want to make a new edition?", we answered yes, and it worked fine.

Let me ask the person who did that to make sure there is nothing else to do, but this is possible.

Cheers

Gilles

Subject: RE: failed to import xerces.jar

Hi

My VAJAVA is version 3.5 with WebSphere Tst Env & IBM Java Parsers included to my workbench.I want to include the  Xerces.jar from the XML4J parser the latest.

What I did was versioned the existing IBM java parsers and tried to import the Xerces jar to my workbench. But I am not able to do so.It gives "System Uncaught Exception".I think there is a conflict while adding org.w3.dom or so.

I need to have  Xerces.jar and WebSphere Tst env to my workbench.

TIA

Thanks
Rizwan
