This may be your problem... you "add(ed) a few methods to this class"?  How
did you do this?  I get the feeling you just entered several methods into
the primary class definition and tried to save it.  You should never edit
the class directly (that's that part with the big "C") to add a method.
Instead, you should right-click on the class and a pop-up menu will come up.
Select Add, then Method.  A wizard will come up that will help walk you
through the addition of a method.

This is where many people get confused - I did at first.  Each method is a
separate entity in VAJ, and should be added separately.  You CAN enter a
bunch of code into the class definition and it will attempt to parse it into
methods, but that is definitely not the preferred method, for the reasons
you see.
