Thanks for the clarification Frances. I thought that "WebSphere" was standard across all platforms; the fact that the z/OS version was different was not clear to me. I will adjust my article accordingly. However, the fact that you can't say anything about pricing for the iSeries doesn't bode particularly well. I am not heartened. > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-java400-l@midrange.com > [mailto:owner-java400-l@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Frances Stewart > Sent: Saturday, June 02, 2001 3:03 PM > To: JAVA400-L@midrange.com > Subject: RE: mntr.retryValue in admin.properties file for WebSphere 3.5 > > > > I can answer a couple of things here: > 1). > >>"Version 4.0 brings together the functions of Version 3 Standard > Edition and > >>Enterprise Edition into a single product." > >>http://www-4.ibm.com/software/webservers/appserv/about.html > This excerpt is from an annoucement for OS/390 (zSeries). Your second link is more pertinent to the iSeries. Unfortunately, > there is not much I can say at this point.
