I meant to imply you should use your own directory.

Just after you sign on to FTP from your pc do:

quote namefmt 1
ls /home/QSYSOPR

I'm guessing there is no such directory.  QSYSOPR is kind of
special.

I presumed you would use a user profile other than QSYSOPR
or any of the other IBM-supplied user profiles.

It is not the best security practice to use QSYSOPR for things like
FTP.  If you don't have a user ID other than the IBM-supplied ones,
try (under QSECOFR):

CRTUSRPRF yourfavroitename

and then see after an FTP:

quote namefmt 1
ls /home/yourfavoritename

whether that directory exists.  If it does, use it.  Otherwise, create
a directory wherever you wish with

MKDIR   '/whateveryouwantasadirectory'
