I haven't compiled anything on the AS/400 since 1999, I think <grin>.  Of 
course, I use VAJ, which means I just export my code to the IFS (using a mapped 
drive) once I've got a clean version.  But you can just as easily compile your 
code using any PC IDE, you just need the servlet JAR files in your CLASSPATH.

All the JAR files you need are on your AS/400, usually in the following folder:

/QIBM/ProdData/IBMWebAS/lib

You need at least jsdk.lib and jst.jar.  You may also need ibmwebas.jar if you 
use any of the IBM-specific classes.

This should get you started.
