I didn't know about this FOR UPDATE clause. But then, the only SQL documentation I have is what I got when I downloaded the MySQL product to my PC, and it doesn't mention this as something you can put in a Select statement. I also don't see it in the help for Microsoft Access. Is there something online (or otherwise available) that describes SQL syntax as implemented by AS/400?
