Yes, they should apply the group PTFs after installing the AS3 product. BTW
the QEJB library is in effect as of Version 3.0 of WebSphere (Version 2.x
standard didn't have it.) Standard edition is no charge with OS/400 but the
AS3 product comes on a separate CD and (for some reason) sometimes needs to
be ordered separately.

Standard Edition comes with the base OS, I believe.  Am I correct in that?

Now, since they've already applied the PTFs, will they have to install
5733-AS3 and then reapply the group PTFs?
