Be aware Mike, 

The javamail api is a Java 2 api and therefore will
not work correctly under Java1.1.7 (the default
ibm-websphere version). So to use this api you must
have Websphere Version3.5 and Lic PGm 5769JV1 Option 3
installed on your system.
