I use db2_classes.jar from /qibm/proddata/java400/ext (either via mapped
drive or copied down) - here is my classpath:
set
CLASSPATH=.;c:\jdk1.1.8\classes;c:\jdk1.1.8\lib\classes.zip;c:\jdk1.1.8\as4
00\jt400.jar;c:\jdk1.1.8\as400\db2_classes.jar
and it works OK.

I compiled the following code on as400 OK but I can not compile it on PC. I
have moved all the jar files that I could find on my as400 to PC. (I can
compile many other java files involving jt400 on my PC).

import java.sql.*;
  public class ajdbc   {
     Connection conn;
     PreparedStatement pstmt;
      public static void main(String args[])         {
          try           {
           DriverManager.registerDriver(new
com.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver());

This is the error I got when I try to compile the above code on PC.

Class com.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver not found in type declaration.
           DriverManager.registerDriver(new
com.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver());
                                                                        ^
