Thanks very much Joe, this is great and exactly what I was looking to do. I
only have one small problem left! When I launch the application I hide the
DOS shell as expected but I still get a minimised icon that appears on the
task bar.  I know that I can manually close this myself, but I was wondering
if there was anyway to prevent this from happening in the first place.
