My java experience is very limited so some of these may be stupid questions,
but isn't that the kind of answer that belongs in a FAQ :) ?

How about:
Which OS400 version supports what level of java environment?
Which Sun api's work on the AS400?
Possibly more important, which don't? (as mentioned, AWT)
Which have equivalent as400-specific substitutes? Do any?
Where do I download them?
Is there a recommended directory structure for ibm, sun, in-house classes?
Debugging Java on the as400 could be its own FAQ, probably.
What's the best way to set up a test environment?
Can I do an equivalent of STRDBG UPDPROD(*NO)?
What sites have sample programs that have been tested on the as400?
