I am learning Java at home, plus I took one class at a community college. You can learn the Java language, fairly easily from many sources. What I am having trouble with is, how to use Java on the AS400. Finding this information is a little more difficult. I have three books so far. JAVA and the AS400, JAVA Application Stragegies for the AS400, JAVA for RPG programmers. These books are very good, but the examples are not explicit enough. I am trying to create a java report program. I have found what statements you need to do this in JAVA and the AS400, but not how to put those statements in the Java program . I guess I would like to see some Java program examples written for the AS400. I have not got the java report program to work ,as of this date......still trying!!!!
