Hi Luther,

thanks for your e-mail and the support number. You're right I'm in
Germany. The PATH variable is also o.k. and the older version of
MSVCRT.dll (dll of a system running VAJ 3.0) is not the solution. I think
it is a problem of bad registry entries or a dll version confict. When I
find out how to fix the problem I send the solution to the mailing list.

Mattias

Hi Mattias-

Sorry that didn't help.
One other thing I can think of. Does the PATH variable have any spaces in
it? VAJ2 had problems sometimes if this was true.

Anyway, I guess the next place to try would be the official support
channels. I am assuming you are in Germany like me? I have sent a fax once
to the fax phone number for Germany in the support booklet that comes with
VAJ. I actually got a call back some days later. Also I think the official
support number is 0190-772247 (for 2,42 DM/min??)- but someone named
Mattias
gave that me so maybe it was you!

Let us know if you find the problem.. if all goes well I will be getting
version 3 sometime soon also ;-)

Luther
