I am still occasionally getting com.ibm.as400.access.ConnectionDroppedException thrown in my program and wonder if anyone else has seen this. It occurs either during SequentialFile.addPhysicalFileMember, or during CommandCall.run (CPYF...). This is in a Java application running on a PC under Linux, accessing an AS/400 using the IBM AS/400 Toolbox for Java. We're running V4R2. I have successfully trapped this exception in order to let the operator try again, but I can't understand why this only happened in the last few weeks, since the program has been in production for over six months. Any ideas? P.S. Calling getReturnCode() on the ConnectionDroppedException returns 2. -- ____________________________________________________________ Glenn Holmer gholmer@weycogroup.com Programmer/Analyst phone: 414.908.1809 Weyco Group, Inc. fax: 414.908.1601 +--- | This is the JAVA/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to JAVA400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to JAVA400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to JAVA400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: joe@zappie.net +---
