I would like to thank all who responded to this question. Lots of answers and most very good and all helped me. I found a good source of info for newbies like me who need to get a hook into "what the heck am I supposed to be doing?"!! with JSP, servlets, javabeans, app servers, e-javabeans, result beans etc. URL: www.software.ibm.com/developer/education/jsp/index.html. Download the lecture, unzip it, open the index.html. It is good and takes about 1.5 hours. Thanks again Arch >>> "Joe Teff" <jteff19@idt.net> 08/18/99 08:09am >>> >Java Server Pages (JSP) is supported by a number of vendors on NT. The >one I'm most familiar with is IBM Websphere. JSPs are like ASPs but are >vendor independent whereas ASP is supported basically by MS, although >there are some other implementations out there now by smaller vendors. I'm in the early stages of learning Java and one thing that I notice is that terminology is constantly growing. Can some explain (simple explanation is fine) what JSP, servlets and Enterprise Java Beans are?
