  • Subject: Java and X.25

Hi

Does anyone know how to use X.25 from Java on the AS/400. Both Reading,
Writing and Controlling. We are currently using ICFF files with RPG but would
like to rewrite the code in Java.

In these programs we wait for a message to appear in a Dataqueue. We reformat
the message and send it out on the X.25 after checking if X.25 is available and
the line is up. We then wait for a replay on the X.25, and when the replay is
back on X.25 we again reformat the message and send the message to a dataqueue.

I hope someone has some experience or knowledge of this.

Best regards

Petur Fridriksson
