SMDREAL task was eating up huge quantities of CPU and no mail routing was occurring. Possible cause (still under investigation from Trend): Corrupted pattern file. Workaround: WRKLNK '/QIBM/UserData/trend/SMD/pattern/vsapi/*' Delete all IFS entries with an extension of 'corrupted'. Hopefully you have one as old as 867 that is not 'corrupted'. tell SMDreal quit tell SMDemf quit tell SMDmon quit tell SMDsch quit show tasks wait until all are gone load SMDreal load SMDemf load SMDmon load SMDsch May have to turn off update.
