Yeah, that's the process I'm talking about.  What is this parameter 
supposed to do?  I'm not wanting to disable Full Text Indexing, just 
throttle it a bit.

Are you talking about the process that updates Full text Indexes on 
schedule?  If so you can use this Ini setting.  Domino does give you a 
warning that its a debug param - 

Debug_Disable_Chronos=1

Restricting a process






Is there a way to prevent a task from taking over the entire server?  When 


Update runs on an overly large mail file, it kills the entire server's 
response times, including on the other DPARs.
