We use BRMS for everything these days. I haven't written a SAVLIB in
quite a while. Did you try changing Save active wait time to *NOMAX or a
few minutes etc.

I don't think SAVACTWAIT(1) is long enough since it is showing as WAIT.

While we are on the Topic of Save/Restore .

We also bring down each system into restricted once a week for PTF apply
and a proper backup of OS400 etc. Does anyone else do this?

We have our disaster recovery test scheduled for the end of the this month
at an IBM facility in Sterling Forest NY.

Should be an intertesting couple of days. We are trying to restore all
"Mission Critical Systems" in a 72 hour period.

The restore time alone will give me some time to go and practice my golf
swing.........

When I try to
SAVLIB LIB(QUSRSYS) DEV(*SAVF) SAVF(SAVEFILES/QUSRSYS) SAVACT(*SYSDFN)
SAVACTWAIT(1) OUTPUT(*PRINT)
I get:
CPF3761-Cannot use DTAQ QTOFARQRY in QUSRSYS.

WRKOBJLCK OBJ(QUSRSYS/QTOFARQRY) OBJTYPE(*DTAQ)
Job User Lock Status

and the list of job fluctuates, constantly - not just when we bring up or
down a domino partition.

If I just omit this object, is that ok? Or, will it be curtains for all
of our Domino partitions if somehow this object becomes damaged and we
have no backup of it?
