Thanks for the input Arjen. "One question: Are you sure your Outlook accepts your Domino CA?" As far as I can tell, yes. I am able to add the Domino CA as a trusted root in my browser. And when I send a signed email to outlook, and save the contact info, I tell outlook to inherit the trust of the CA too. So I think the answer is yes. I will try your suggestions, as you laid them out, as I've tried every other conceivable configuration. Thanks so much for responding.
