Two different issues. QTIMZON is for the twice yearly that most of the country observes. The thing I was talking about was syncing your i5 clock up to a time server to automatically adjust your clock if your i5 starts to run fast or slow. Can happen whenever and numerous times. We use it to sync all of our PC times and our iSeries and i5 times. If Walter Scanlon is monitoring, it would be interesting to get his viewpoint. As far as time adjustments, I believe you need to have the QTIMZON value set which enables automatic adjustment. I'm just going off of what I read in the Information Center (which isn't very clear). We are not using V5R3 yet, so I don't have any practical knowledge.
