They won't handle it?!

Then how much of a difference will it take to throw the system into he!!?
My question being is if we use the system value QTIMADJ with a value of
QIBM_OS400_SNTP (and the rest of the appropriate setup) will that cause
issues?

Re: Time change

We have confirmed with IBM that there will is not a change scheduled to
have Domino handle DST changes while running. I have also confirmed with
our iSeries gurus that if you don't set the Time Zone, you disable the
auto
adjust feature of V5R3.

Rob, see all the previous posts about how Domino goes haywire and drags
down the entire iSeries if you change the time while it is running.

Maybe you need to take this over to midrange-l and see what Al Barsa or
the rest of the group says.

Why would you NOT want it to automatically adjust?

I believe if the value of QTIMZON is blank then it, in effect, is
disabled...

I was looking through the system values on our i5 system, but I couldn't
find where to disable the feature. If I recall, there is a data area that
controls it and possibly you may possibly be able to disable it. However,
nothing I'm finding in the Info. Center states anything about being able
to disable it.
