We already access DB2 data for inquiries via Domino. The trip is the BLOB field. Our application is this. We will have a iSeries based application generate a PDF file. Then we want to associate that PDF file with particular other DB2 data. We were thinking a blob field made sense. Once the iSeries based application did that, then Domino could access that data.
