R6 Meeting changing to an Appointment

R6.0.1CF1 on V5R1 As/400.  I have an executive assistant who swears she 
created a meeting in a delegated mailfile and sent out to 6 people. Coming 
back to it several days later to the executive's calendar to  update she 
finds the calendar entry  now appearing as an Appointment but if she goes 
to several of the attendees, whomshe has delegated rights for, the exact 
same entry appears on their calendars as a Meeting?  The executive does 
use the latest version of Easysync that works with R6.  Could Easysync 
have changed the calendar type during syncing.  Anyone seen anything like 
this?
