First link I was referred to (to check ptf levels, etc) was:
http://www.as400.ibm.com/domino/DomSupport.htm
which is a bad link.
But I figured they meant
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/domino/v5r1ptfs.htm
And I am current.

No nsd files from 2002.
Nothing from QSYSOPR
>From the QNNINSTS joblog:
Job attributes not set from locale.
Job 066213/QNOTES/QNNINSTS started on 02/11/02 at 08:59:45 in subsystem
LEISERVE in QUSRNOTES. Job entered system on 02/11/02 at 08:59:45.
Job 066213/QNOTES/QNNINSTS submitted.
CALL PGM(QNOTES/QNNINSTS) PARM('0008' 'LEISERVE' 'LEISERVE QUSRNOTES ')
Domino server LEISERVE started.
Domino server LEISERVE started.
Domino server LEISERVE started.
Domino server LEISERVE started.
Domino server LEISERVE started.
You have to get this when the job is running because no printed output
occurs. So maybe it's missing the final message(s)?

No spool files for QNOTES
>From QHST there are several
Job 066223/QNOTES/SERVER started on 02/11/02 at 09:00:16
Job 066223/QNOTES/SERVER ended on 02/11/02 at 09:00:17;
But none of these have any spool files.

I ran the
CALL PGM(QP0ZIPCS) PARM('-Emsa')
and nothing looked like a damaged semaphore.

Messing around with more environment variables was a little daunting.

WRKDOMCSL only seems to show when we last brought the server down.
Actually I noticed that we tried to end controlled but after 15 minutes we
still had 20+ jobs so it ended immediately.

I ftp'ed the log.nsf to a local pc, in a strange directory. Nothing in
there prior to the attempt at an orderly shutdown.
