GDISYS.DEKKO.COM
10/30/2001 09:50:40 AM HTTP server: Could not bind port 80. Port may be in

Now wait a minute! Ports 80 and 81? Hmmm, When I go to GDISYS I get

Sample Home Page for APACHEDFT Server

Is this done differently than WRKHTTPCFG, or should I be using a different
Configuration name . . . . . . . CONFIG Name, CONFIG, *ADMIN

How's about this?
STRTCPSVR *HTTP
Subsystem QHTTPSVR in library QHTTPSVR being started.
Job 017133/QTMHHTTP/ADMIN submitted to job queue QZHBHTTP in library
  QHTTPSVR.
Job 017134/QTMHHTTP/APACHEDFT submitted to job queue QZHBHTTP in library
  QHTTPSVR.
Job 017135/QTMHHTTP/DEFAULT submitted to job queue QZHBHTTP in library
  QHTTPSVR.

So I tried
wrkhttpcfg apachedft
and got a blank screen with a status at the bottom of:
Member APACHEDFT added to file QATMHTTPC in QUSRSYS.
Got out, got back in and got
Member APACHEDFT file QATMHTTPC in QUSRSYS cleared.
So I figured, what the heck and added:
Sequence
 Number Entry
 00010 BindSpecific On
 00020 HostName TCPGDISYS
Got out, got back in and it's still there. So I tried
strtcpsvr *http
Ownership of object QATMPARMSP in QTEMP type *USRSPC changed.
Subsystem QHTTPSVR in library QHTTPSVR being started.
Job 017183/QTMHHTTP/ADMIN submitted to job queue QZHBHTTP in library

Job 017184/QTMHHTTP/APACHEDFT submitted to job queue QZHBHTTP in library
  QHTTPSVR.
Job 017185/QTMHHTTP/DEFAULT submitted to job queue QZHBHTTP in library
  QHTTPSVR.
HTTP server starting.

wrkJob 017184/QTMHHTTP/APACHEDFT
Job . . : APACHEDFT User . . : QTMHHTTP Number . . . :
017184
 >> CALL PGM(QHTTPSVR/QZHBHTTP) PARM('1' 'APACHEDFT' '-uiMin' '3' '-uiMax'
'5'
'-cEAMap' '*CCSID' '-cAEMap' '*CCSID' '-uiCCSID' '819' '-apache' '-d'
'/w
    ww/apachedft' '-f' 'conf/httpd.conf')
This is the manager job for HTTP Server instance APACHEDFT.
And still get:
10/30/2001 10:07:57 AM HTTP Socket bind error, hostname/ip
GDISYS.DEKKO.COM
10/30/2001 10:07:57 AM HTTP server: Could not bind port 80. Port may be in
use
