Rob,

I am pretty sure it has to be a name, but use the local host table
to alias a name to the IP address....

Could I do this by IP address, and if so would the following work:
Use BindSpecific On
Hostname xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Or do I need the < > like
Use BindSpecific On
Hostname <xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx>

The reason I want to use IP address goes to a stupid mistake I made, and
keep perpetuating. I have a Domino server the same name as my 400, on this
400.

400:
Internet Host
Address Name
198.1.1.201 Qgdisys
                 TCPGDISYS
                 GDISYS
                 GDISYS.dekko-1

Domino server:
Internet Host
Address Name
10.10.1.213 GDISYS.DEKKO.COM

Rob,
use the BindSpecific <hostname> keyword in the HTTP configuration of the
AS/400 to prevent the HTTP-server
to bind to all local interfaces at startup.

ooooooooooooopppppppppppsss! It's too early in the morning (5.30):
Use BindSpecific On
  and
Hostname <hostname>
 to achieve the needed result.
Both keywords should be added to the HTTP-configuration using WRKHTTPCFG
Next try......
