Summary: Two of four partitions are working. Why aren't the other two?
Detail:
Ok, I know have the following:
400 stuff
WRKHTTPCFG
...
Port 81
...
Domino stuff:
Server Host name Port
GDISYS 10.10.1.213 80
GDISYS01 198.1.1.216 80
GDISYS02 198.1.1.218 80
GDSHELPB 10.10.1.144 80
IP addresses were from server doc / Internet Protocols / http
Ports were from server doc / Internet Protocols / Domino web engine
Typing in GDISYS at my browser gives me the list of databases. Ok.
Typing in GDISYS01 at my browser gives me the 'The page cannot be
displayed' screen. Not ok. Mapping area matches what is in GDISYS server
doc.
Typing in GDISYS02 at my browser give me our page as defined by the http
mapping. Ok.
Typing in GDSHELPB gives me the 'The page cannot be displayed' screen. Not
ok. Mapping area matches what is in GDISYS server doc.
Ping results
Server from home 400 from PC
GDISYS 198.1.1.201 10.10.1.213
GDISYS01 198.1.1.216 198.1.1.216
GDISYS02 198.1.1.218 198.1.1.218
GDSHELPB 10.10.1.144 10.10.1.144
By the way, the 400 name and the first Domino server are the same, GDISYS.
Stupid move - only conflict is with http though.

Rob, Domino has the ability to bind http to port 80 for one specific IP
address per server. The server doc has an Internet Protocols tab - HTTP
tab then enable the bind to host name and the Domino server name to the
Host name field. Do this for each server on the 400. The servers should be
bounced for the changes to take effect.
The IP address on the 400 itself is another matter, there is an Httpcfg
file somewhere but I don't remember the details, anyone else try this
lately?

Supporting multiple
IP addresses on a
single 400
We have a few Domino servers on 400's. What I want is separate IP
addresses for each server and for the 400 stuff. For example:
10.10.0.1 = 400 http
10.10.0.2 = Domino partition 1
10.10.0.3 = Domino partition 2
10.10.0.4 = Domino partition 3
...
In the past we played with using separate port numbers, like 80, 81, 82, 83
and so on. The users look at you like your some kind of jerk when you tell
them the URL is
AS400:80
DOMPART:81
DOMPART:82
DOMPART:83
...
Currently our 400 http is simple. I do the configs using WRKHTTPCFG. But
I admit I am still a babe in the woods on that issue.
