Richard, I was hoping that nothing would be stored in Notes. If the keys are stored in the Notes DB, would I have to figure out some way to load the existing records? I am finding a lot of neat things in Notes that can be done, but I am also finding things that I can't do that I take for granted in RPG IV. What do you mean by "DECS isn't that fast"? What I am trying to do will a one record at a time thing. It will be for the maintenance of our Item Master file.
