My boss is deeply impressed with NexGen. They do a Domino
to DB2/400 data interface that was slick and fast. They write
only for Domino for the 400 and so they tailor it for speed
on the 400. They have a BPCS interface that looked really
slick according to the boss. To get existing talent up and
running they don't generate java. I just went to a seminar
that cautioned about using Domino for heavy transaction
processing, but this stuff looks pretty sexy. Queried a 400
record item master and returned data in under two seconds.
Speed rivaled 5250. Doesn't seem to be using DECS, LEI or
any such animal.

Anybody else seen their product and what do they think?
