Hi Justin, Try the following: 1. Shutdown all CODE applications on both machines (no EVF* or CODE* processes should appear in the task list) 2. Make sure each user has a different *CURLIB defined in the *USRPRF (QGPL & QTEMP are not acceptable) 3. On the iSeries, issue the command WRKOBJ *LIBL/STRCODE OBJTYPE(*USRSPC). Delete all found objects. 4. Delete the file C:\Program Files\IBM\Shared Files\STRCODE.xml (this will reset your STRCODE settings to IBM defaults - which also affects batch compiles messages). 5. Restart CODE & try to compile again. thanks, Violaine Batthish WebSphere Development Studio Client, IBM Toronto Lab "Justin Taylor" <JUSTIN@lorencook .com> To Sent by: <code400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> code400-l-bounces cc @midrange.com Subject CODE Designer compile problems 06/05/06 03:14 PM Please respond to "CODE/400 Discussion & Support" <code400-l@midran ge.com>
I have been using CODE Designer for over a year. On Friday, I set another developer up to use it. Now both workstations are having problems compiling display files out of CODE Designer. The compile runs out of QBATCH using the EVFCFDBK program. It creates the display file but instead of ending, the job goes to a TIMW (Waiting for time interval) status. The job will sit there for 10 minutes, taking up a slot in QBATCH, before finally ending.
