So you have no programs in the Task Manager that start with evf?
This has happened to me when evfcsrvd.exe gets confused.
I am wondering who keeps the comm daemon. There must be some runaway
process running somewhere.

        Subject: Code Edit won't open

Tonight Code Edit refuses to open. When I attempt to open the program the
icon becomes an hour glass for a few seconds, then nothing. No program
seems to be listed in the task manager except rxapi. I've also noticed
that
I can not close the communication deamon for longer than a few moments. It
opens up again, unasked.

Windows XP, 512 RAM.

Code Edit worked yesterday, doesn't today. I have added no new hardware
nor
software that I am aware of.

Code Designer opens as does Client Access and all other programs

Any ideas would be appreciated.
