Hi Jon, The files you are seeing are indeed profile information for the iSeries debugger. However, '%USERPROFILE%\dbgprof' directory is actually used to maintain that kind of data - it is not a part of the install image. Oh, and by the way, some files do have '.wiley' extension. Just to let you in on our little secret: our debug engine used to be called 'Elmer - Wiley' - no relation to Anne :-) Regards, Vadim Berestetsky Distributed Debugger Development |---------+--------------------------------------------------> | | "Jon Paris" <Jon.Paris@partner400.com> | | | Sent by: | | | code400-l-bounces+berestet=ca.ibm.com@m| | | idrange.com | | | | | | | | | 01/27/2003 01:22 PM | | | Please respond to CODE/400 Discussion &| | | Support | | | | |---------+--------------------------------------------------> >-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | | | To: <code400-l@midrange.com> | | cc: | | Subject: Problem Initiating The Debuger From Code 400 | | | | | >-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Xuan Chen, just out of interest I followed the %USERPROFILE% route you suggested to see what "odd" files I might have there. I notice that although I don't have a cfg file named CLIPPER, I _do_ have a couple that I never created, including one called "working8-5.cfg" and another called "working9.cfg". There are also a number of (Anne?) WILEY's files liberally scattered around. Are you guys by any chance leaving your own server info in the install directories?
