Judging from the number of people contributing to the VARPG forum on IBM's
news server, I would say its usage is certainly spreading.  Like CODE it
didn't really take off until it was cheap ($300) and then "free".  There are
some good commercial products built with it - which I guess is a measure of
its acceptance.
