Hi Xuan,

Yes, I am on V5R1. I'll check and make that PTF is installed.

Thanks!

Chris

Chris,

Are you in V5R1 of iSeries? If that is the case, please make sure PTF
SI03087 of product 5722ss1 is applied in that system.

Hi Vadim,

Actually, because the menu option doesn't hold it, I had to hold the job
queue, then go out and manually hold the job. I thought that would work
because the joblist is based on userID if I put "/cproctor/" in the field.
I
just tried submitting a job on hold from a command line too and it didn't
show up in the joblist.

Any ideas, Vadim?

Thanks for the assistance.

Chris

Hi Chris,

This does sound odd. I wonder if the job is actually submitted with the
HOLD(*YES)
set on. I remember somebody else having a similar problem, and I think it
turned out
they weren't setting HOLD(*YES) for some reason.

I wonder if you could try to submit job from your 5250 and see whether you
still get
the same behavior.
Please let me know what you find out.

Thanks,
Vadim.

Hi all,

I have a situation where I have a menu that submits the job I want to
debug.
I submit it on hold, but when I go into the debugger and pull up my job
list
it only shows my interactive session. Why is this? Obviously, it's
submitted
with my userID. If I display all jobs in the job list and select mine, it
says that it's not found. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for any assistance!

Chris
