I have loaded it to XP.
The problem is the admin rights on XP.
>From the control panel, Administrative Tools.
>From Administrative Tools, Local Security Policy.
Under the Local Policies folder is the User Rights Assignment.
If you click on that you get a bunch of settings on the right.
While I wish that I had written down which settings I altered, I was mad and
in a hurry at the time I was trying to install WDT and DB2 UDB V7.1 after
other systems had crashed.
If you do like I did and look through them and add your "admin" profile (the
one you want to sign on and install with) to those that "seem" like they
would belong to administrators, they you should be able to shutdown and
restart and then install.
Create Permanent Shared objects and Create a Token object and Add
workstations to domain are three in particular that I had to set. Enable
computer and user accounts to be trusted for delegation is another one.
