Hi Bill,

I think you will need to go back to the Define Server Logon (or
Communication Console) and re-enter your passwords.
In V4R5M1, the password encryption that VRPG uses was updated and it would
seem that it is not handling your old passwords correctly.

Hope this helps!

             I'm using VA/RPG.

             I just upgraded to V5R1M0 SP5 from V3R2M3.

I have multiple server logons defined with password required.
I change the Remote Location to be the real one to make the connection.
(The others have "random" character strings.)

It used to be that it would take the password I entered in
Define Server Logon and make the connection to the AS/400. Now it selects
the correct User Name, but tells me the password is invalid and prompts for
the password.

How do I get it to go back to using the password I've defined
in Define Server Logon?
