Not quite - at least not if you are trying to Verify - you didn't say what problem you were having so it's hard to tell. In order to verify when disconnected you must have had caching enabled (select the "Use Cache" checkbox on the Verify options) when connected and have a cache image for each of the files used by your program(s).
